Emma earned her B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from Arizona State University and has built a robust career developing creative programs in the non-profit sector. Emma has acquired a broad range of skills through her work experience as Program Facilitator, Program Manager and Program Director. She has worked in a variety of experiential educational settings including Pali Institute. She has developed and implemented programming for a nonprofit summer camp in Arizona for individuals with special needs. Emma most recently worked with Pathways in Education where she oversaw a team of educators at Blackbird Farm in Mendocino County. She developed program curriculum, created organizational systems, and managed customer relations.
She is passionate about Holocaust education and feels a strong connection to the mission of The Butterfly Project. Emma has studied Jewish history while living in Israel. In addition, she has traveled to 22 countries and has done extensive service learning work in Thailand, Cambodia, and India. Emma is extremely excited to use her skills to create positive change in the world and is thrilled to be a member of The Butterfly Project Team.
