JOIN US TO ENSURE HOLOCAUST EDUCATION REACHES STUDENTS IN SAN DIEGO, ACROSS THE USA AND AROUND THE GLOBE

For over eighteen years, the Butterfly Project has thrived thanks to the generosity of people just like you, who believe in ensuring Holocaust education arrives in the hands of educators and students. Anti-Semitism and other forms of hate are alive and well in the US and around the world. Your gift to the Butterfly Project makes a lasting impact to fight antisemitism, bigotry and hate. Our mission has reached thousands of educators and students who otherwise might not receive any accurate, historical facts and information about the Holocaust.

Are you concerned about the rise in antisemitism, bigotry and hate? Would you like to make an impact to students and educators to ensure they learn about the Holocaust and become upstanders for hate?  Do you want to make a real difference? Any gift large or small helps the Butterfly Project fulfill its mission to create upstanders for a better world.

Listen to a Holocaust Survivor share why The Butterfly Project’s work is so important.

“When you told me the purpose of The Butterfly Project and that it would be butterflies, I told you that this would go over. It was not something that kids would be afraid of, not scary pictures that would make kids run away, they would want to do it, and this was my excitement.”

Hanna Marx Holocaust Survivor

“For years I had wanted to do something that was age appropriate for our students. Our butterfly installation in the center of our campus is a wall of remembrance and but it is also a wall of hope.”

Betty Winn Head of School, Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School, Northridge, CA

“Artistic endeavors like The Butterfly Project are so important, if you can get to youth and they’re a part of something creative and other people are connected to it that are not like them but they are still working on it together. . . a lasting impact is made.”

Brian Levin Director, Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, California State University, San Bernardino

“It’s important that people of all faiths remember The Holocaust and when we reached out to The Butterfly Project, the students at Calvary Christian could connect with a Survivor’s story and do something through art to make a better world.”
